Aztec myth

The Aztecs have a calendar that represents the god of the sun and usually called Eagle Bowl. This calendar has been used Aztecs in various forms for over 2000 years. A Zapotec, based on the Eagle Bowl, states: The 13 Heaven and Hell 9 each 52 years long. Each of the 9 Hell it must be worse than the last. On the last day of the last Hell, Tezcatlipoca, the god of death will take off the mask of jade to reveal himself as a god Quetzelcoatl or peace.

In Aztec mythology, the first age of mankind ended when the animals ate humans. The second age by the wind, the third by fire and the fourth by water. Fifth today called Nahui-Olin, which began in 3113 BC and will end on December 24, 2011. This will be the last destruction of human existence on Earth.

Mayan myth

The relationship between global catastrophe and the calendar of the Maya is mostly fiction and the Mayans never said the world would end in that year. Some scientists say that only a happy coincidence that all of these reasons have connected to the virtual tribe and perhaps from some of the reasons why so few other scientists argue the opposite.

Of course, the Mayans just one of dozens of major civilizations and there is no particular reason to assume that the Mayan calendar is more cosmically significant or valid than the hundreds of other calendar systems in use throughout history. Mayan calendar is divided into the Seven Ages of Man. The fourth era ended in August 1987. Mayan calendar ends on Sunday, December 23, 2012. Only a few people would survive the disasters that followed. In the fifth age, humanity will realize its spiritual destiny. At the age of six, we will realize God within ourselves, and in the seventh age we will become so spiritual that we will be telepathic.

The expected thing in 2012

Some of the things expected to happen ditahun 2012 are:

Sun storm
Solar experts from around the world have made the surprising discovery that our sun in a little dispute. Sun's energy output, like most things in the cycle should be in the middle of a relatively stable period. However, recent solar storms bombarded the earth with so much radiation energy, already knocked out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is expected to get worse, and calculations suggest it'll reach the peak of deadly around 2012.

Atomic wallop
Scientists in Europe have built the world's largest particle accelerator. Basically, in a 27km tunnel designed to destroy the atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it was true even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They predicted all sorts of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when the engine is fired for the first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-size lump of solid basketball.

Super Volcano
The reason for this is simple, which sits on the largest volcano in the world and geologists began to sweat nervously. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or more and have many years too late for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunge the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as the date the possibility of a big bang.

Slip-Slop-Slap-BANG
We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that sheilds us from most of the solar radiation. What you may not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit change places every 750,000 years or more and now we're about 30,000 years too late. Scientists have noted that the poles are shifted about 20-30kms each year, much faster than before which points to a pole-shift is right on the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes up to 100 years. The result is crisp UV outdoors to your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

Earthquake effects

In the last one year the earth experienced the largest three earthquakes in the last two hundred years. The under water volcanoes and earthquakes have gone up 88% over the last three years. The continental earthquakes have gone up during the same time frame. The rate of increase of these earthquakes and volcanoes when drawn against time is staggering. The intensity of these storms in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans are increasing exponentially.

According to some geologists and scientists, we are in the middle of a deadly 11,500 year cycle when the ice age comes back. The start of the cycle is marked with Polar reversal, super volcanic activities, massive earthquakes, Tsunamis and nasty hurricanes. 11500 years back, the last ice age happened and what we have started experiencing happened.

Analogy of the earthquake

A simulator monitoring recent seismic show the disturbances earthquakes and volcanoes extreme in the outer and inner core of the earth. The interaction of the inner core and the rest of the earth cause the electromagnetic properties of the earth. The ongoing polar reversal is accelerating and will eventually have reverse polarity in North and South pole.

According the simulator, the earth’s inner core and outer core is going through some serious disturbances. That in turn is influencing the viscous semi fluid mantle. When it happens, the convection within mantle increases substantially, is also influenced by solar polar reversal. In our modern age we have not experienced a simultaneous solar and terrestrial polar reversal. Between now and 2012, these disturbances will keep increasing making earth’s crust and tectonic plates very disturbed causing severe volcanoes and earthquakes.

The Meaning of End the World

Many things to understand what is meant by the end of the world. It clearly does not mean the planet will be destroyed, for that would take away all options in a single think. That's not what the seers of the past were trying so hard to tell. They were warning us of something entirely different - more like an abrupt shift in the direction of one's life.

Just as today's astronomers have a more expansive perspective on outer space than Galileo and Kepler did, so those throughout history who have been able to view earthly events from a cosmic point of view have had a broader understanding than most of us of the narrative of our planet through time.

The nostradamus effecs

The Maya, an ancient South American culture predicted that time would end in a violent apocalypse on December 21, 2012. They created an elaborate astronomical calendar called "The Long Count," which stops abruptly in 2012. This date, which is also the winter equinox, coincides with an incredibly rare galactic alignment that happens once every 26,000 years.

What did the Mayans think would happen when their calendar ended? And were they joined by other cultures--from different parts of the world and in different centuries--all pointing to 2012 as a calamitous end time? The Hopi Indians and Eastern Hindus have similar calendars, which are remarkably synchronous. One counter-culture mystic even uses an Ancient Chinese philosophy to unlock the key to a 2012 prophecy. Nostradamus himself suggests the world is headed toward a coming cataclysm.

Did you know what will happened?

NASA has predicting in 2012 will happen solar storm, it is published on the NASA website. The nastiest solar storm since 1958 or worse and it's coming at the solar maxim in this current sunspot cycle. what the going on in space is what's causing natural catastrophes like superstorm hurricanes, tornadoes and typhoons. These events could easily destroy millions of lives on Earth. The 2012 solar storm could paralyze all communities around the world.

Some unknown and extremely powerful force beyond our solar system is actually causing the ground mass around the North and South Poles to be pushed in. Not only that, this is making the shape of the equator become noticeably altered. NASA has published a report about this in 2002, explaining their fears of what it could do to life on Earth. They were convinced that it could do away with gravity on our planet.

The Last Date in the Mayan Calendar

December 21, 2012 is a date that has been literally set in stone - it is the last date chiseled into the Mayan calendar. It is spoken of in the legends of other traditions as well and has been part of the arcane knowledge of civilizations stretching back to Atlantis and Lemuria. Apparently some ancient people were privy to knowledge that remains largely unavailable to the majority of us today - even though we are the ones destined to live through this remarkable date.

Thus on this matter we are left to our own devices. All of us must work out a response as best we can. However, if there is any truth to the story, our stance - the most wager we ultimately make - regarding this issue is arguably the most important of our life. Should we treat the predicted demise of our civilization with disdain or with riveted attention? This question would not be so challenging if the prophecies were backed by verifiable scientific process. Thanks to modern-day advances in our understanding of the Earth's orbit, we can predict a total eclipse of the sun on November 13, 2012. We can even tell within seconds precisely when and where this event will occur. But when it comes to an event like the end of the world, science can't help us; the forces in play have yet to be discovered by classical academia.

The dooms day

When something ends (even something as innocent as an ancient calendar), people seem to think up the most extreme possibilities for the end of civilization as we know it. Archaeologists and mythologists on the other hand believe that the Mayans predicted an age of enlightenment when 13.0.0.0.0 comes around; there isn't actually much evidence to suggest doomsday will strike. If anything, the Mayans predict a religious miracle, not anything sinister.

Some of the most popular space-based threats to the Earth and mankind focus on Planet X wiping most life off the planet, meteorite impacts, black holes, killer solar flares, Gamma Raystar systems, a rapid ice age and a polar (magnetic) shift. There is so much evidence against these things happening in 2012, it's shocking just how much of a following they have generated. Each of the above "threats" needs their own devoted article as to why there is no hard evidence to support the hype.

But the fact remains, the Mayan Doomsday Prophecy is purely based on a calendar which we believe hasn't been designed to calculate dates beyond 2012. Mayan archaeo-astronomers are even in debate as to whether the Long Count is designed to be reset to 0.0.0.0.0 after 13.0.0.0.0, or whether the calendar simply continues to 20.0.0.0.0 (approximately 8000 AD) and then reset.

End of the Long Count

The Mayans had a solution. Using an innovative method, they were able to expand on the 52 year Calendar Round. Up to this point, the Mayan Calendar may have sounded a little archaic – after all, it was possibly based on religious belief, the menstrual cycle, mathematical calculations using the numbers 13 and 20 as the base units and a heavy mix of astrological myth. The only principal correlation with the modern calendar is the Haab' that recognised there were 365 days in one solar year (it's not clear whether the Mayans accounted for leap years). The answer to a longer calendar could be found in the "Long Count", a calendar lasting 5126 years.

The base year for the Mayan Long Count starts at "0.0.0.0.0". Each zero goes from 0-19 and each represent a tally of Mayan days. So, for example, the first day in the Long Count is denoted as 0.0.0.0.1. On the 19th day we'll have 0.0.0.0.19, on the 20th day it goes up one level and we'll have 0.0.0.1.0. This count continues until 0.0.1.0.0 (about one year), 0.1.0.0.0 (about 20 years) and 1.0.0.0.0 (about 400 years). Therefore, if I pick an arbitrary date of 2.10.12.7.1, this represents the Mayan date of approximately 1012 years, 7 months and 1 day.

This is all very interesting, but what has this got to do with the end of the world? The Mayan Prophecy is wholly based on the assumption that something bad is going to happen when the Mayan Long Count calendar runs out. Experts are divided as to when the Long Count ends, but as the Maya used the numbers of 13 and 20 at the root of their numerical systems, the last day could occur on 13.0.0.0.0. When does this happen? is 13.0.0.0.0 represents 5126 years and the Long Count started on 0.0.0.0.0, which corresponds to the modern date of August 11th 3114 BC. The Mayan Long Count ends 5126 years later on December 21st, 2012.

Mayan calendar

So what is the Mayan Calendar? The calendar was constructed by an advanced civilization called the Mayans around 250-900 AD. Evidence for the Maya empire stretches around most parts of the southern states of Mexico and reaches down to the current geological locations of Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador and some of Honduras. The people living in Mayan society exhibited very advanced written skills and had an amazing ability when constructing cities and urban planning. The Mayans are probably most famous for their pyramids and other intricate and grand buildings. The people of Maya had a huge impact on Central American culture, not just within their civilization, but with other indigenous populations in the region. Significant numbers of Mayans still live today, continuing their age-old traditions. The Mayans used many different calendars and viewed time as a meshing of spiritual cycles.

Most of the Mayan calendars were short. The Tzolk'in calendar lasted for 260 days and the Haab' approximated the solar year of 365 days. The Mayans then combined both the Tzolk'in and the Haab' to form the "Calendar Round", a cycle lasting 52 Haab's (around 52 years, or the approximate length of a generation). Within the Calendar Round were the trecena (13 day cycle) and the veintena (20 day cycle). Obviously, this system would only be of use when considering the 18,980 unique days over the course of 52 years. In addition to these systems, the Mayans also had the "Venus Cycle". Being keen and highly accurate astronomers they formed a calendar based on the location of Venus in the night sky.

About 2012

On July 31st, a tiny sunspot was born from the sun's interior, floated around a bit, and vanished again in a few hours. On the sun this sort of thing happens all the time and ordinarily it wouldn't be worth mentioning. But this sunspot was special: It was backward.

"Backward" means magnetically backward. Some scienti are explains, sunspots are planet-sized magnets created by the sun's inner magnetic dynamo. Like all magnets in the Universe, sunspots have north (N) and south (S) magnetic poles. The sunspot of July 31st popped up at solar longitude 65o W, latitude 13o S. Sunspots in that area are normally oriented N-S. The newcomer, however, was S-N, opposite the norm. This tiny spot of backwardness matters because of what it might foretell: A really big solar cycle. Solar activity rises and falls in 11-year cycles, swinging back and forth between times of quiet and storminess. The next cycle, Solar Cycle 24, should begin any time now, returning the sun to a stormy state.

Satellite operators and NASA mission planners are bracing for this next solar cycle because it is expected to be exceptionally stormy, perhaps the stormiest in decades. Sunspots and solar flares will return in abundance, producing bright auroras on Earth and dangerous proton storms in space. The first spot of a new solar cycle is always backwards. Solar physicists have long known that sunspot magnetic fields reverse polarity from cycle to cycle. N-S becomes S-N and vice versa. The backward sunspot may be the first sunspot of Cycle 24.
